Teenage girlhood is the loneliest thing in the world.. womanhood is finding yrself in that isolation
as you get older, you realize that you’re not always right and there’s so many things you could’ve handled better, so many situations where you could’ve been kinder and all you can really do is forgive yourself and let your mistakes make you a better person.
I’m probably an awful person for getting annoyed by ‘what have you been doing?’, ‘how’s your family?’ typa questions but I really can’t help it because if you think about it, there’s a reason why you already don’t know all of that
